MIC Intern Program
Are you interested in gaining work experience in a professional planning environment?

The MIC partners with local universities to provide internship opportunities for eligible (currently enrolled undergrad or graduate) students. Our program allows students to gain experience in the planning field while providing them the opportunity to test, through practical experience, the knowledge and skills acquired in academic courses.

Typical intern work tasks include:
    • Data collection and analysis – surveys, field observations, GPS, turning movement counts, GIS
    • Research and writing – research summaries, draft plan chapters, charts, graphs, maps, spreadsheets, blogs and Facebook posts, website updates


* Must be enrolled for college credit during the semester of the internship.
