East 2nd Street Corridor Study
| The MIC has completed a study of the section of US Hwy 2/53 in Superior, Wisconsin. This corridor (also known as East 2nd Street) is an important route for moving people and freight, but it also provides direct access to many homes and businesses. The MIC’s study looked at how land uses and traffic patterns affect conditions of accessibility, mobility and safety for the various modes of transportation that move along and across the corridor. This work resulted in a number of recommended actions that the City of Superior and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) can take to improve conditions along East 2nd Street. |
